Logical Motion Control

Glosser Logical Motion Control system for compaction equipment consists of a 5" X 9" microprocessor base control card which is mounted together with a motor starter and control transformer on a sub-plate in a NEMA 3R electrical enclosure. The card replaces the standard relay panel and performs the necessary control of the hydraulic cylinder according to the factory programmed operation logic. The card accepts input signals from panel push buttons, selector switches, and card mounted controls such as rotary selector switches and current sensor. The card performs logic according to an internal programing and controls the necessary output signals including motor starter, solenoid and light to control a hydraulic trash compactor. The compactor sizes range from a 3 HP hydraulic power unit to 30 HP unit.

This upgrade will primarily retain parameters necessary for a semi-permanent memory. Loss of power, reset, emergency stop, change of mode, etc. will have no affect on cycle from performing to its full capacity. Vastly improving the compactors operating efficiency. The upgrade is, also, capable of recognizing a malfunctioning cylinder by using measured values. If parameters are exceeded the machine will shut down and a fault light will be shown on the diagnostic LED to allow for preventive maintenance.
